S3EP40: RAPID TRANSFORMATIONAL THERAPY (WITH JONATHAN BONCEK)
We’re back and still running our mouths — slightly wiser, hotter, and a little healthier.
Catch up on all the chaos since we ghosted the podcast (oops), from Cam’s move to Charlotte, to new relationships *wink wink*, and whatever the hell we’ve been doing instead of recording.
#SlideTFInTransformation — faster than you think. Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) isn’t just another mindset hack, it’s a deep reset. Rooted in hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and cognitive behavioral therapy, RTT rewires deep-rooted beliefs and clears mental blocks fast. The best part? It’s a tool you keep for life.
Think you know your mind? Think again. #SlideTFIn
You’re Not Broken, You’re Just Unprocessed: How RTT Blew Our Minds (and Our Trauma)
Let’s start here:
If you’ve ever cried during a yoga class, convinced yourself you’re “just tired” when your soul is screaming, or had a full spiral after your face turned red in public—you’re not crazy.
You’re probably just holding on to some sh*t your body is begging you to let go of.
In this episode of DM For Guestlist, we invited our friend Jonathan Boncek—photographer, rapid transformational therapist, and lowkey healing wizard—to talk about trauma in the body, subconscious beliefs, and why emotional pain needs to be treated like a broken arm.
Not ignored. Not repressed. Just seen, felt, and released.
And listen… it got deep. Fast.
Wait, WTF is RTT?
RTT stands for Rapid Transformational Therapy—a healing modality that blends hypnotherapy, neuroscience, and somatic work to get to the actual root of your emotional blocks.
Think: guided hypnosis, inner child work, subconscious rewiring, and real “aha” moments that hit harder than your ex’s excuses.
And no—you’re not “asleep.” You’re fully aware.
You’re just tuned in. And it’s in that space where the healing actually happens.
Trauma Isn’t Always Loud. Sometimes It’s Just You Being Tired All the Time.
Jonathan said something that stuck with us hard:
“A feeling not expressed in tears will make other organs weep.”
Mic. Drop.
The truth is, so many of us are carrying unprocessed emotional pain in our bodies—and it shows up as fatigue, skin issues, brain fog, chronic pain, gut issues, even insecurity.
And most of us are treating the symptoms without ever addressing the source.
RTT goes straight to the subconscious, uncovers the original belief (“I’m not good enough,” “I’m unsafe,” “My body is broken”), and helps you rewrite the damn story.
Let’s Talk About That Hypnosis Life
So what actually happens in a session?
Jonathan walks you through breathwork, guides you into a relaxed state, and then helps you access memories or moments where that “stuck” feeling first showed up.
It’s gentle. But it’s also raw.
For Kelsey, one session around confidence and imposter syndrome had her crying mid-session and then randomly launching a business two months later with this unexplainable sense of “It’s time. I’ve got this.”
Coincidence? Nah. That’s subconscious rewiring in action.
You Don’t Need to “Fix” Yourself. You Just Need to Listen.
One of the biggest lessons from this convo:
Our bodies are constantly communicating with us—but we don’t listen until we’re in a full breakdown.
So what if we stopped viewing symptoms as problems to fix and started seeing them as messages?
Red face = unprocessed shame
Chronic bloat = stored stress
Brain fog = emotional overload
Anxiety = your body saying “I’m not safe here”
And when we started talking to those parts (literally giving them a voice in RTT), they weren’t trying to destroy us. They were trying to protect us.
Cue the tears.
Self-Talk Is a Spiritual Practice
Here’s another gem from Jonathan:
“Self-esteem doesn’t come from outside validation. It comes from self-praise.”
And let’s be real—most of us weren’t taught how to talk to ourselves with love.
We were taught how to be high achievers, how to perform, how to people-please… but not how to say:
“I love you.”
“You’re doing great.”
“It’s safe to rest.”
“It’s okay to not be okay.”
RTT helps you reparent that younger version of you—the one who internalized those beliefs in the first place. And once you start speaking to yourself like you matter? Everything shifts.
Repetition Is the Real Magic (Even If You Fall Asleep)
After each RTT session, you get a custom audio to listen to for 21–30 days. Kelsey fell asleep to hers every night. Sometimes frustrated, sometimes questioning if it was even “working.”
And then? One day she woke up and realized she felt completely different.
Calmer. More clear. Ready to actually do the thing she’d been talking about forever.
So no—you don’t have to be perfectly conscious for it to work.
Your subconscious doesn’t sleep. It hears it all.
Healing Isn’t Linear. But It Is Possible.
This episode reminded us that healing doesn’t have to look like a 10-step morning routine or a juice cleanse.
Sometimes it looks like laying on a couch, holding your breath, crying over a memory you didn’t even know you had, and saying out loud:
“I’m ready to let this go.”
And sometimes, that’s all it takes.
TL;DR: You’re Not Crazy. Your Body Just Has Something to Say.
So if you’re:
Constantly triggered
Feeling stuck or blocked
Living in your head 24/7
Holding shame, fear, or insecurity you can’t logic your way out of…
RTT might be the door you didn’t know you needed to walk through.
Because healing doesn’t have to be hard. It just has to be honest.
